Studied at North Texas State. Played with The Oak Ridge Boys for 16 years and The Charlie Daniels Band for 3 years. I have some videos on utube of me playing with The Oaks and Charlie under my name(Dewey Dorough) also you can Google my name for videos. I received 3 gold and 1 platinum records that I played on while with the Oaks. I received a CMA award in1986 while I was with the Oaks for BEST INSTRUMENTAL GROUP OF THE YEAR. Played on the Oaks 1981 AMA VIDEO OF THE YEAR. I have played at THE WHITE HOUSE for 4 different presidents. Recorded and released my own albums;' Dewey Dorough Saxophone Favorites","SaxAfter Hours", "Dewey Plays Standards", and "Dewey Plays Gospel. I am currently recording my next CD. I play with several bands in Las Vegas. I like to play R&B,Blues,Motown,Oldies but Goodies (50s,60s and 70s). Standards,Country and Smooth Jazz. I also play Harmonica. I played with Little Richard on The Oak Ridge Boys Live From Las Vegas Special at the Hilton Hotel, and played with James Brown at the James Brown Birthday Bash.
