I play an Olds Alto Saxophone. I started playing sax in the 4th grade at Fox Elementary School in Belmont, CA, and we moved down to Poway, CA the next year. My first sax was an Armstrong, which I eventually donated to a school or church or somewhere when I got a new Yamaha AS-52 my junior year in high school. Too bad that nice Yamaha sax got stolen from me when I was in college, but I just got this Olds as a Christmas gift a few years ago, and have sat in with a few bands in their practices, but have no regular gig right now. in high school I played in the Wind Symphony, on Van Doren Reeds, but now I try different reeds and like rock and jazz as well. I have some Alexander Superial reeds and Gomzales, which have very different sounds. I'm interested in jams and sit-ins, maybe some open mics. I can solo.
